Dipping sauces are all the rage today. The most popular dipping sauce consists of a blend of olive oil and herbs, and is used for dipping crusty rolls or French and Italian type breads. Bread should be served on individual plates, with individual bowls of dipping sauce for each person. Here are some simple ideas for making your own dipping sauces. Enjoy!

Crusty Bread
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 teaspoon rosemary, thyme, sage or dried red chilies

Add the spices to the oil and shake. Allow the flavors to blend for several days before dipping.

Herbed Foccacia Bread
2 tablespoons sweet Balsamic Vinegar

Dip and savor the wonderful flavors.

Chicken Fingers
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup barbeque sauce

Mix and enjoy.

Seafood - Shrimp
1 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons vinegar
3/4 teaspoon prepared horseradish
